Elder Dr. Julwel Kenney is the Co-Pastor of Tabernacle of Life, Rochelle Park, New Jersey, and has been saved and filled with Holy Spirit for 35 years. She is an ordained Elder and an anointed praise and worship leader who believes in giving God all the glory according to Psalms 150: 6 “Let everything that has breath praise the LORD”. Her overseer and bishop is Bishop Dr. Kent Branch, Senior Pastor, of Pilgrim Cathedral of Atlanta, Georgia.  In addition, she is a self-motivated, energetic, hardworking, ambitious, enthusiastic, goal and result-oriented skilled leader who always strives for excellence, and dedicated to the work of the Lord.  Dr. Kenney is passionate about motivating and inspiring other people to excel beyond their imaginations. She encourages everyone to take the limits off of themselves so that they soar high as an eagle into their God-given destinies.

Dr. Kenney was raised in the church and has overcome many of life’s challenges by depending and trusting in God.  As a result, she is able to relate to many individuals, especially women, who are struggling with so many personal issues, including self-esteem and self-confidence. God has called and anointed her to minister to many hurting women to let them know it’s their time to arise and be lifted above their circumstances in order to achieve their destiny, and be women of excellence.  She loves encouraging, enriching, and empowering individuals to build a relationship with God so that they can achieve the greatness God has put in them in order to be all they can be for God’s glory.       

Over the years, she has ministered to many pastors, bishops, apostles, corporate and business executives, and others in leadership positions to encourage them to succeed, handle difficult situations, deal with ambiguity, and depend on God for direction.  She has held many leadership positions within churches and corporate organizations.  She has facilitated various workshops, such as Leadership Transformation, to help people develop into assets not liabilities.  Today, Dr. Kenney has been married for 23+ years to Elder Keith Kenney, Senior Pastor, who is a true man of God and one after God’s own heart.  Therefore, God has created opportunities for Dr. Kenney to cross cultural barriers and minister to single women and men, and married couples from many different nationalities and guide them in their personal transformation process through the Word of God so that they can stay focused and soar high as an eagle into their God-given destinies.  

She has over 25+ years of secular and church leadership experiences and believes in leading by example.  In addition, God has blessed Elder Kenney to be a leadership professional, keynote motivational and inspirational speaker, college professor, columnist, and life and business coach. She is also CEO of JK Personal Development Company with a strong educational background that has culminated in an MBA in Human Resources Management, MS in Organizational Leadership, BS in Organizational Management, and a Ph.D. in Education Psychology, specializing in Training and Performance Improvement, to complement her leadership and personal development experiences.
